On June 7th 1934, many independent churches and organized movements, being represented by their Bishops and Pastors of the Pentecostal faith, assembled in a general council to contrive a plan and system by which the Pentecostal Churches may become closer together; manifest a recognized relationship before the world and have fellowship one with another regardless of name, movement or church. So long as fundamental principles of their doctrines were the same, minor differences would not sever their fellowship.

So it pleased God to suffer them (us) to organize the International Federation of Pentecostal Churches. Only excepting the churches and movements with their Bishops, Elders and Evangelist that believe in and teach the Trinity, Godhead, Salvation, Sanctification, Baptism by Immersion(In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost) and Baptism of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2: 4) Adverse to Spiritualism, etc. Membership in the Federation is obtained by virtue of a certificate of the International Federation operation and fidelity to the Federation.
